As a trade person I cannot recommend or criticize a particular diamond. But it's probably worth considering that since the GIA released their cut grade a decade ago, the expectation in the market for GIA diamonds has become "Triple Ex".

From a standpoint of future value and liquidity, using triple ex as a baseline makes sense.
