Thanks natyLad and missydebby I first was considering a halo setting, but after I decided on the diamond, I went for this thin band and simple setting! just love the way that the beautiful AVC stands out!

it's a GOG setting (not sure what's the exact name). when I was in the store to pick the setting, they just had it in as a new design..

Ahhh, that is beautiful - my all time favourite cut. And the 1c is just right, you can see the cut and the size is very elegant, as is the setting. Lovely.

Is that the Vatche Caroline setting? My daughter has a round diamond in that setting and it looks almost just like it. I love the setting!

Oh, and definitely do not resize in the winter! Your fingers are smallest now. Plus, when you add a wedding band, that will help it fit a little more snugly.

thanks all We picked the setting also from Good Old Gold. It's one of their own designs. it's pretty similar to a Ritani setting I liked, but then I found this one also has everything I asked for and with much affordable price... yah!

Well that is great! I knew GOG carried Vatche and that is why I asked. But better to get the lower price since no one knows who made the ring anyway! I do think it looks like the Ritani as well.

Yes, maybe I should wait till Summer to see how it fits then. just not sure what's GOG's free resizing policy. I remembered they told me the first time resize will be free, but I don't know if I could wait till 4,5 months later to do so.
but the ring keeps rotating and sliding up and down on my figure..kinda annoying...

If you have your hand hanging down, would the ring fall off? If so, then it is probably not safe. But if it just moves but stays below the knuckle, I would wait. You really don't want it to be tight in the summer.
