Can you evaluate this cushion for me?

Hi there! I'm new here so let me know if this is not appropriate. I've been looking at this diamond from brilliant earth. It's an ideal cut, VS1, polish and symmetry are both very good. But for some reason, it looks hazy/cloudy. Is this not a good diamond??

You do know this is a lab created diamond? We can't discuss these on RT (there's a sub forum specifically for lab stuff) but I do see what you mean. That is a lot of money for a lab grown stone and resale is terrible especially now that lightbox is selling 1ct stones for $800....any particular reason for not getting a natural stone?

Ah! I'm sorry, I didn't realize that there was a sub forum for lab created. Thanks for the options, my boyfriend and I are still trying to decide between natural and lab. I've been look at natural but it's just so expensive for the cut and clarity that I want... :/

It's definitely a personal choice but a natural diamond will hold a better value over a lab created stone. What is your max budget? What do you mean by the cut you want and what are your desired specs besides higher clarity?

I wouldn't want to spend more than 10k. I like the cushion brilliant. I would like a F color, with vs1 or higher. Very good polish and symmetry. I know it's a lot to ask for with my budget lol
