I''m trying to figure out why the second one is priced that way, just because it''s I1? But the pictures look really good. Hmmm...

They both look great. You can always call GOG and ask if the I1 is eyeclean. And yes, being I1 could account for the price difference.

What about the Gemex reports? What are the signficance of the pictures on that? Should I be concerned that the pictures on that report are considerably darker for the second stone, or is it just the way they were taken? Should I just pay attention to the bar ratings?

I think it might be the lighting, I would be more concerned that the diamond ( the I1) is eyeclean to your standards by checking with Jon.

The 1.01ct stone is dingged because it''s lower in color and clarity. But it looks like a beautiful stone. They both are. But if you can live with the I1 you are getting a larger stone for less. It''s got a cloud pretty close to the center and for some might not be acceptable. GOG will be able to tell you how noticeable it is.

So what does a cloud do? Appear a bit blurry to the naked eye? It doesn''t seem to affect light reflection. In the DiamXray it looks like a black mark. How would that translate to the naked eye?

O.k. nevermind that last post because he went with the first diamond!!!!! He called GOG about the second one and they said there is a black inclusion in the table that is quite visible. The first one, however, is absolute perfection!!!! I can''t wait to see it, and even more, to see it set. Pictures will be forthcoming!!!!
