Can someone give me an expert opinion on this diamond?

Hi jbar,

The diamond doesn''t look terribly bad. The table is really the only thing that caught my attention. It''s on the larger end of the small table range. Because of this, you might see a bit less fire, a bit more white light retrn. Some people prefer this, some prefer a more equal amount of both, as I do. And of course, I''d want an IS pic of the stone, but I know they don''t supply that.

If that interests you, I''d say bring it home and let an independant appraiser have a look at it.

Doing a price search, I saw prices varying in the 18,000-20,000ish range.

If you think you''d like a bit more balanced diamond, here''s a really nice one to consider.

Without knowing the price, it is hard to say. The stone Ellen posted is better.

Thritto that and welcome! The first diamond could be a nice diamond, but I would defintiely prefer Ellen''s pick, it depends on budget. BN has a good return policy, if you shoot for the first, so plenty of time to see if that is your sort of diamond or not.
