This is what I was going to say. But it looks from your picture, that the head is part of the ring, rather than a so called ''peg-head''. So in your case you would have to manipulate the prongs. I don''t know how possible that is, sorry.Date: 1/8/2009 8:23:54 AM

If the head is not integral to the semi-mount, it should not be a problem. Just get the jeweller to remove the round head, and replace it with an oval.
