Can I get my diamond graded by AGS on my own?

Am I able to get my diamond (princess) graded by AGS on my own after I purchase it? It''s my understanding that AGS is the only people that grade cut for princess diamonds? If so, is it very very expensive?

They are the only major lab that issues a cut grade for princess cuts.

No, you can’t directly submit a job to them but pretty much any jeweler should be able to help you out. Talk to the people selling you the stone or with your chosen appraiser.

Fees vary with size and what sorts of report you require but they are comparable to GIA’s.
