Can I get help finding side stones?

Whoa, totally overlooked that. Thank you! I’m not sure what to expect since it’s not something I’m familiar with. Pairing it with the side stones I purchased, and the setting being yellow gold, would you be hesitant?

It won't match well with the side stones you purchased, IMO, and might look a little discordant in yellow gold.

Appreciate you confirming what I assumed. Bummer, because I really loved the stone not to mention the ct weight for the price. Lol

Either of these two look amazing...both really jumped out at me.

I was sitting here staring at both side by side when I got the alert for this thread. I can’t decide which I prefer! My gut says I won’t be able to tell once it’s in my hands and go for the .77. After all there’s only a minuscule difference in the spread, comparatively. I think the proportions will look good with the .33 sides since it’s a RHR and not m e-ring. I don’t want it to be too ostentatious and outshine my e-ring once I get it.

I feel that there's no wrong choice between the two, since they are nearly identical in the numbers. Based on the videos and all the info given, which one are you leaning towards?

Since they're both great stones, flip a coin or go for the cheaper one!

The cheaper one because it’s cheaper but I like the optics of the .78 better. Just can’t justify the price jump because I’m certain I won’t be able to tell the difference once I get it. Being blown up on a 22” computer monitor is not the same as having it in my hands.

Guess I'm getting impulsive in my old age. Just placed the order for the .77ct. Now to email David Klass for a price on the setting, and the fun part begins! Thank you again to both of you for all your guidance and knowledge, it's very much appreciated! I know I got a suite of great stones for far less per carat than Lightbox. The finished ring will be 1.43tcw for around $750. Not too shabby!

EXACTLY! I would've never dreamed I could have something like this so affordably. I'm waiting to hear back from David regarding the setting because I'm undecided between 2 and wanting his advice. I want to make sure the gallery design is open enough to allow light in with the smaller stones. I designed one a few years back and I had to scratch the project because life got in the way, but I don't want the side view to look too cluttered. If that won't work I'll go with a WF butterflies style setting. I just love the 6 prongs on the center stone, so no matter what that will be incorporated in the design.

I digress. Thanks again for everything!

That's going to be a heck of an amazing ring and will cause all sorts of jealousy and envy!

Side note: I keep staring at this one - smaller table, taller crown, nice PA/CA combo, shorter lowers for a bit thicker arrows - now that's a beauty of a diamond! Little fireball, for sure!

I would love to have this in my engagement ring! If my SO proposes soon, I'll snatch it up. I didn't want my RHR to overshadow the star of the show though so I went a little smaller. The setting I plan on is an Art Deco halo with a tri-wire shank, airline and lots of milgrain. It will have some presence even with a smaller center stone, that's for sure.
