Can i get feedback on this stone

Coming late to this thread but as someone who obsessively cleans and then loupes their stone to make sure it's free of all smudges, lint, watermarks, etc, I can assure you that by the time you wash off that one speck of dust and put the ring back on your finger, the world will have blown two more specks of dust back on to your diamond.

Hey @Audis410, just checking back in. Did you make a final decision yet? Curious to see which direction you went.

Not yet, I'm waiting for my new credit card to arrive so i can take advantage of the special offer purchase requirements (saving another $500 ). I'm torn between the two, the 1.65 from JA appears to be cleaner, however, it's .19mm smaller. I've requested the idealscope for the 1.71, they said would get back to me within 24hrs. I'm sure we'll be satisfy with either, maybe i'll just do a coin flip lol, stayed tune!

Just got the idealscope and heart images for the 1.71. Any comments compared to the idealscope i posted previously for the 1.65 from JA?

The other stone i was looking at is from JA, actually have it on hold while i decide . I got the idealscope from them, and everything looks very good. Only minor concerns are crown angle and depth are a tad outside of ideal ranges, thoughts?

This is an idealscope image.

The image on the left is an arrows image, and the image on the right is a hearts image. Neither is an idealscope image, although the arrows image does look similar to an idealscope image.

I understand the diamond was probably not marketed as a true hearts & arrow diamond, but below are markups of things out of whack on the hearts images:

• Yellow = Heart should not have "rips" where they join.
• Pink = Heart should be even color. Here is one side is clearly darker than the other.
• Green = The "V" shapes formed by the end of the hearts should be near perfect in their widths. You cna see how some are skinny and others are fat. Some hearts have a skinny & fat side.
• Orange = Notice how these don't come to a fine point, but instead have little "crow feet" on them. This is wrong, they should be pointed.
• Blue = Entire heart is a mess. Notice one top is much wider than the other and not symmetrical? This occurs to a lesser degree on the other hearts as well.
• I didn't mark this up but if you look at the heart to the right of the pink where it comes to a point, you will see that it too has the crow's feet (similar to the arrows circled in orange). Several of the hearts have this effect, which is abnormal.

Update: I went with the 1.65C, G, IF originally from JA due to the fact that it meets all my requirements, pic and video looks cleaner, HCA came back at 1.4, and AIG/AGS proportions results in EX/Ideal even with -/+1 variations. however, i bought from these guys instead:

It was 2.5K lower than JA, so i'm hoping there wouldn't be any issues. Paid with credit card in case any issue comes up. Was told will be delivered within 1-2 wks, will keep you guys posted and thank you for your help!!
