Hi all! I pulled the trigger on a 2.0 carat oval from Ritani today and was hoping I could get an opinion on how I did.

The more I'm researching, I'm starting to think that the table is too large. I just ordered it a few hours ago, so if the consensus is "it's just ok", I'd love to swap it.

It seems like this is how they cut most ovals these days (8 mains, offset from center). It will most likely look dark through
the center under bright light just like a well-cut round brilliant. It will probably also have "end caps" which may or may not bother you.

See this thread with respect to the end caps.

Not sure what else to tell you. It is the typical cut for ovals. If you are extremely picky it may not be for you. If not, it may be just
fine.

Unfortunately, its very difficult to search for stones at Ritani since they don't show the pics until you put the cursor on the stone
(or I'd look).
