Can anyone help me with colored diamonds?

Hi,
I really like colored diamonds but don't know much about them. I am interested in yellow diamonds, but the price ranges are all over - from less than $100 to over $10,000....I saw one that sounded intriguing: a round,brilliant dark yellow diamond 1.17 carats for only $200 - partly cloudy color - that's all the info I have. Does this sound right? Thanks!

Colored diamonds that are really nice to look at are about the same price as white diamonds, and exceptional drop dead vivid is a lot more.

$200 is rubbishy brown carbon
