Hello,

I am really stuck with deciding on which diamond to buy. I am also tempted by a third with is bigger and cheaper. Was hoping you could please help me with deciding between the first two and comment on the tempting third!

GIA #16245259 EVS2 1.01
Ex.Ex.Ex. 6.45-6.48x3.98
Ct nil Fl nil Girdle med
Table 56 Depth 61.6
Crown angle 15.5%/35 deg
Pav angle 43%/41 deg
The inclusions are about 2-3 very fine carbon dots

GIA #16276798 1.00 EVS1
6.44-6.52x3.95
Ex.Ex Symm VG
Fl nil Ct nil Girdle med
Table 55 Depth 61
Crown 15.5%/34.5 deg
Pav angle 42.5%/40.8 deg
i haven''t seen this 2nd stone as it is interstate and i have to pay a non-refundable fee to view it (to cover costs of insurance, shipping etc)

both are around 9100USD.
i really can''t decide which to go for, in terms of brilliance and total appearance. i am also worried b/c i have been told that black inclusions are carbon and should not be classified by GIA as VS clarity.

The third diamond that i saw is tempting b/c of its size and price, of 7000USD, as follows

GIA 16356145 FSI1 1.10ct
Ex.Ex.Ex 6.61-6.68x4.09
Fl nil ct nil Girdle med
table 57 depth 61.6
crown 15.5%/34.5 deg
pavilion 43%/40.8 deg
the inclusions are cloud/crystals on the periphery of the table.

Thank you for your help!
Re the second EVS1 stone i have not viewed, they have done a cut report on it which shows a 99.9% intensity and ideal cut proportions score 0.

I''d go with the 1.10, F stone. All seem to be good stones, and I''m sure both of the VS stones would be eyeclean, but I like the size and value of the 3rd stone better.

I would go with The 1.10 F-SI1, It really looks like a nice diamond, But first make sure that it is a nice SI1.
Good Luck,
Yekutiel

Are you looking for bigger and cheaper all together? If so, for that price, you could get bigger and cheaper by playing around with the color and clarity. For instance, you can still go a little lower in the color, say a G or H and into the Si''s range. Many si stones will have inclusions you can''t see to the eye. I wasn''t sure what your overall goal was so I thought I''d throw it out there.

Is the third stone available for you to see? I wouldn''t buy an SI1 unless someone can look at it and describe the inclusions. If they are not visible to the eye, then that one looks good for the price. The others are a bit pricey for one carat. The second one looks really good if you wanted to go for that level of color and clarity, though.

But here''s an E VS1 1 ct. stone at $8084 (with discounts), so that makes me think that the first two are overpriced.
