Can a jeweler use the 11 diamonds in my ring, to create this style band?

Since I love the color/clarity of the diamonds in my recently purchased diamond band, but the band doesn''t fit well with the solitaire, is there a jeweler that anyone knows of that could, and would reset the diamonds to make a band like this bar set band? Anyone I could ask regarding resetting? Thanks.

Is it that you need one more diamond added? Do you need a totally new band or what? What kind of band do you have now which creates a problem? What does your solitaire ring look like?

Here''s the thread showing pics, I think the band is set a bit too high, and protudes out, so that it looks wider than the e-ring, when looking face up. It doesn''t follow the same lines or contour as my e-ring setting. I thought adding the narrow gold bars, and spacing the diamonds a bit more, (maybe adding 4 more) to make it a lower profile, more comfortable fitting, 3/4 eternity ring.

Is that possible, and since I am supplying the diamonds, what price range are we talking for resetting them? If I add four more diamonds (9 or 10 pointers), SI quality, H color diamonds, how much more would that be? Thanks for your help.

Labor is the most expensive part of what you are proposing. Buying (or fabricating) a new setting and putting your diamonds in will run you at least as much as this ring cost you in the first place.

Thanks Upgradable, that is why I listed it on E-bay, just to get my money back and start my search for something else.

I have a Facets bar set band and I just love it. It sits low and has 9 stones.
