Hello All!
No, I am not yet engaged, lol, but do have the ring sitting in a safe in the bank. I will take pics as soon as I get my camera and get the ring out of the bank. anyway, I have a question about wedding bands. I want one that is masculine, but with some bling, lol.....I was thinking gyspie setting....however, my gf will get three rings (plain band, engagement, and diamond band). I want a plain band to match hers as well as for when I travel, but can a guy get two rings?

thanks!

rick

I will tell you what I told my husband yesterday. He wondered why I am still looking into rings since i just got one.

"Honey, I have 10 fingers".

There are women on this board with more than two rings... I say go for it.

So apart from jokes, can you wear them on both hands. I mean use one as a right hand ring

My hubby has 2, one has 1/2 ct of diamonds, her will wear that for going out and ect and I just bought him a new titanum ring, it will be for everyday wear

I say sure, why not? We should be able to have two if they can have two, especially if you work with your hands a lot and don''t want to scratch or hurt your "nice" ring.

My hubby has two wedding bands. He has a simple band that he wears daily and then a nice three stone ring for when he wants to get his bling on!

A guy can have as many as he needs...When i was engaged I made plans for a plain yellow gold band for every day and a vintage 1920s cartier platinum ring with a sapphire and side diamonds for dress.I Also planned for a basic sterling band for heavy work that would damage my better rings.Today two rings is not un common and is smart to save the design of your expensive ring and cuts down on wear, up keep costs or chipped stones.

My partner wears a wedding band on one hand and an engagement on the other.

You can do whatever you want, there aren''t actually any life-or-death rules regarding rings!

Sure!!! As long as she is fine with it, I don''t see why you can''t have seven rings one for each day of the week or when your mood changes LOL.

Well, my husband has 3.....so why not? One is a rather "blingish" 2 tone band, another is just a plain yg band, and the 3rd is an engraved wg band.....so he''s really got it all covered I guess.

i would do one on each finger.

My sweet DH has a wedding band with a 1/3ct stone set very smoothly into the band.

I also gave him a pinky ring for an "engagement ring". He has worn both of them daily for 22 years and still LOVES them both!

Go for it!

I think it''s a great idea! I''d love to see pictures when you make your choices.

My husband has two bands as well. A comfort fit platinum one for every day and a three color (white, yellow and rose gold) with a .50 diamond gypsy set in a wider boxy band. Personally, I prefer the every day band, but he likes having a little bling when we go out on the town!

Absolutely, you can get two rings! When I got married in the mid-1970s, guys'' rings were plain gold bands. My husband upgraded in the 1990''s because he wanted some bling. Ahead of his time, I think.

my DH has two, a nice one for work, going out, ect, and a black titanium one for when he does "man"things like messing around with the car and whatnot...

HI:

I bought my DH two wedding bands--and he chooses to wear them together. They look pretty cool next to each other--both are relatively thin--24K and platinum. Thing is, I want to buy him the black gold Torque ring from Tiffany (Gehry) for our anniversary in Sept. But I hope he wears that one, alone!

Buy rings galore!!

My hubby has 2 rings, one for dress and one every day ring. His dress ring has over a carat of diamonds and matches a band that I have. He needed a non blingy ring for when he''s travelling on the job so we got him a tunsten carbide ring which he loves. I say get as many bands as you like!
