Wow, so many ladies here on PS waiting on Tacori rings... we should have a support group or something

Lol or maybe start betting on whose will arrive first hee hee
I''ll be last as I''m just starting the whole process! I''m glad I randomly found PS now -- my friends are already tired of hearing about my ring capades! hahah

Ok, this is getting creepy. My diamond is 0.83 too!!!! I have the same setting as fabcrab right now AND I''m getting this tacori, hopefully soon!

AHHHH!! NO WAY! Fabcrab -- it''s great to meet you! Cute nic too :) Hee hee My real name is Laine, but that was taken, so here I am.

I can''t WAIT to see your ring! I don''t know how I missed your earlier thread, but it really is funny that we both have the same size stone and love the same two rings! I think the .8ct is perfect for the delicate halo -- it will be a classic look but still boost the look of the ring (I can''t do a larger diamond anyway -- I''m in grad school grr).

Did you opt for some micropave on the sides, or just the plain shank? I sort of like both! Part of my likes the antique look of the milgrain around the micropace sides, but also part of me likes the idea of just the clean shank, esp. with a gorgeous clean wband. I''ll just mull that over for now.

This is so exciting! :) DEFINITELY post pics :) And congrats!

HEY!!! No freaking way!!! I''m in grad school too (in chemistry *grumble*)! I totally understand the whole no large diamond thing. As it is, I feel 0.8 is pretty big in the whole academic setting. I opted for the plain shank, I felt that the micropave just didn''t go with my wedding band. I just think you can''t lose with whatever you choose I''m pretty obsessed with Tacori if you haven''t noticed

SO FUN! This is the best diversion in a day working at home ;)

Shimmer -- your chosen setting is amazing. I love the side bagettes -- DEFINITELY post those pics as soon as you can, and you''ll know at least two fans are sitting on the edge of their seats!!

Fabcrab -- Chemistry, eh? That''s awesome!! I''m doing a phd in neuropsych right now, so no labwork, but have to scan kids'' brains instead... not sure which is more crazy! :) Good luck to you!! Enjoy your coursework, and good luck in your experiments!! Your ring will certainly liven up your bench -- don''t get caught gazing at it too often like i will lol :)

I''ll look forward to your photos, girls!!!!

One more little ring question: Do you think you''d opt for milgrain/micropave if you didn''t have the wband to match? I''m really torn... but have plenty of time to mull! :)

There is a "show me your Tacori thread" we should get reopened so we can keep all of these lovely rings in one place.

Lane, we all survived her first cold. She is doing great now. Thanks for asking.

Neuropsych wow that sounds really difficult but it sounds super exciting at the same time.

You know, if I didn''t have a w-band to match, I would probably opt for the micropave. I mean, who doesn''t love the extra bling right?

Lane, where are you in school? I work with children with dyslexia and the Wake Forest Neuropsych dept. does a lot of dyslexia research. I think that would be a fascinating field!

Hi guys! Yeah -- it''s a pretty cool area, and definitely the new "hot topic" in psychology these days. All about localization of areas of brain activity during different sorts of activity. I''m actually in Toronto, but may head stateside (as we like to say when we move south hehehe) in a few years... we''ll see! :) You''re right, DS -- a very interesting field if you''re intrigued by kids and development!

I''ll keep ya posted!! It''s great to meet you all!

I was just out searching on Tacori 2620 because I just found it on Tacori''s website and just love it. Lane, did you decide on one? Gummybear, is yours in yet?

Anyone know the retail price of the 2620...with or without the micropave on the sides? I dislike my area''s Tacori rep and prefer not to call them

ps Can''t stop admiring CatMom''s ring and Tacori e-Ring''s baby in those avatars!!

Shimmer- your ring is stunning!
Just a quick question about any of these 3 styles: Do they hide the side view of the diamond? I am looking for a really delicate halo but maybe set lower on the ring, so the center stone is showing more. So hard to tell from photos. Does your center stone show from the side view?
Thanks if anyone can reply!
