Thanks for all your input thus far, everyone!! I love all your thoughts and opinions :)

I''ve crossed off the Tacoris with huger sidestones, and chosen these two more delicate ones to emphasize my centre stone (which is a very old, inherited stone that I love) It''s .83ct RB, vvs1, G colour.

I''ve finally seen some in real life and WOW. There is no other brand for me, that''s for sure

I agree with Tacori E-ring, who reminds us that although they use some crazy macro zoom photography, these settings are all very delicate and intricate in person.

I''d love to hear any aspects you like/don''t like in these two settings, and which you''d choose!

So, here are my two narrowed down options! First, Tacori #2603, then Tacori #2620:

Thanks!!!!!

I think they are both gorgeous! Can''t go wrong with either one!

They are both beautiful but I loooooove the first one. It think is really makes the diamond the main paid of the ring. Good choices though, they are both very lovely!

Oh Gosh, I love anything Tacori and both are beautiful but I REALLY love the second with the delicate halo. I think it has a more vintage feel to go along with your inherited stone.

thanks!! do you guys like #2 with the plain polished band, or with micropave, which they also do?

i''d do #2 with a micropave band but it is still beautiful the way it is.

Both would make a gorgeous set but for myself, I probably would go with the micropave band.

I am glad you thought they were more delicate in person. My milgraining is so fine it is unbelievable! It does help to see things in person. I think they are both lovely settings and it really depends if you want a halo or not.

Thanks again for all your great input, guys!! I am still absolutely TORN between these two, and THEN i found a third one on another old ps thread that I love! I thought I''d throw it out there just for fun :) Do we love this one too???

Also, thanks Mrs.S. on the comment re micropave -- I''m a bit new still -- can you tell me if that is what is on the arms of the top setting, number 1? Is that micropave? I want to be able to use the right terms... learning slowly! Thanks again guys! :)

it''s hard to tell from the angle of the picture but i would call it micropave on the arms. tacori has a patented design for the pretty scallop with the diamonds so it may just be bead set stones in that design. either way, it''s beautiful.

Oh, the third one you just posted is one of my *favorite* Tacoris. I seriously love the delicate halo and I have seen it in real life and it is even more beautiful! My vote would be for that one.

oooo I love the third one! I think that would look gorgeous with your stone!

i like setting number 1

I vote #2 b/c that is the one I am getting

Thanks guys!!! I love hearing from all of you. To be honest, numbers 2 and 3 are seriously in the running now!! Gummybear, I can''t WAIT to see your ring -- you picked a GORGEOUS ONE!!!!! Are you getting it soon!! I am SOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to seeing photos when you get it!!!

Just for fun, I took a photo of my diamond -- here it is! It is sitting in front of another ring in the second pic. Thanks for the fun!

Pretty stone-

Lane, I know exactly what you''re feeling as I just chose my Tacori e-ring setting yesterday after days and days of deliberation. I personally love the second one because of the delicate halo. I love how the shape of the halo isn''t perfectly circular but more "cushiony" and the fact that the center stone is set a little higher completely emphasizes the center stone which I find most halos don''t do. Either way, you really can''t go wrong though.

lovely stone Lane!

Lotsofsparkle -- Those reasons are EXACTLY why I like #2!! Great minds think alike lol :) The only thing I worried about is that underneath the stone was very busy -- but it''s true that they''re more delicate in person. I''ve seen 1 and 3, but not 2 in person. Can''t wait to see handshots from gummybear! :)
Tacori-Ering -- thanks so much!!! I had some fun taking pics and thought, why not post a few! Hope your little one is doing well!
:)

Lane, they are definitely more delicate and beautiful in person. I honestly think Tacori alters their online images just the tiniest bit because of the counterfeiters cause I''ve been looking at ALOT of Tacori settings in stores and some of the details are definitely missing in the photos. Hmmmmm, do I smell a conspiracy?
2.gif

Oooh! The drama of conspiracy in the ring world -- LOVE IT!

I wouldn''t be surprised if that were true!!

I will definitely share pictures once I get it. I won''t have it for few weeks. Waiting for it is the hardest thing! can''t wait to have it on my hot little finger..

v. nice diamond btw.

Oh my gosh!!! #2 and #3 are my favorite Tacoris of all time!! Believe it or not, I was in the exact same situation as you a week ago. They''re both sooooo gorgeous in person. I ended up ordering #3 just because it sat "flusher" than #2, and it''s going to be here in a month or so. You can''t go wrong with either one.

AHHHH!! NO WAY! Fabcrab -- it's great to meet you! Cute nic too :) Hee hee My real name is Laine, but that was taken, so here I am.

I can't WAIT to see your ring! I don't know how I missed your earlier thread, but it really is funny that we both have the same size stone and love the same two rings! I think the .8ct is perfect for the delicate halo -- it will be a classic look but still boost the look of the ring (I can't do a larger diamond anyway -- I'm in grad school grr).

Did you opt for some micropave on the sides, or just the plain shank? I sort of like both! Part of my likes the antique look of the milgrain around the micropace sides, but also part of me likes the idea of just the clean shank, esp. with a gorgeous clean wband. I'll just mull that over for now.

This is so exciting! :) DEFINITELY post pics :) And congrats!

Ooooh, lovely settings. Of the three I think I like the first the best, but all of them are great. I would probably ask them to set the stone a little lower though since these settings are a bit high.

Thanks kc --I''m def. going to ask for the stone set as low as possible. Even if it eliminates some of the detail at the bottom of the crown, that''s okay. :)
