i''m not sure when we''ll do the pear wrap project... but i am hoping to get one!

monday i went in to a couple of local jewely stores to see pear sizes. my fingers don''t have much room for the pears, but i''m sure i''ll be able to do it. funny, the sales guy kept showing me TINY pears - like so tiny i couldn''t even tell they were pears - and i was like no.... i want BIG pears! haha. he kept saying but you don''t want to over power your center stone

i don''t think he got what i was looking for.

Jcrow, I just caught myself up on your thread. Your rings are gorgeous!! I read through the whole head change ordeal. I think it was worth it because your ring is just perfect.

I can''t imagine being able to drive to Whiteflash. Can you imagine the damage we could all do if we lived near Whiteflash? LOL!
Are they ultimately going to make your wrap for you?

we''re in houston really often, and i couldn''t believe it when i found out that wf was located there!

it was such an awesome experience seeing the unmounted diamonds and discussing them with brian.

i haven''t talked with wf about the wrap project, but i''m sure i''ll get a quote from them when i do proceed with the project.

Yes!!! I have looked at you pics many times!!! I love your solitare, and I would love to see more profile shots and some hand shots with your wedding band.

I also had a few questions for you:

if you could do it again, would you change any detail of your ring and if yes why?

does your wedding band spin at all, or do the two always stay put?

i don''t know that i''d change what i have, but if i were starting again i would definitely look at woobug''s head. it looks great in pictures. but the one i have now doesn''t have the "donut" like hers. so i''m thinking mine may sit more flush? but that''s just guessing... like i said, i''d take a look at that head and definitely consider it.

hum, if my wedding band spins, it doesn''t bother me. i don''t think it does, but i may. i definitely find that it spins on my right hand when i wear it by itself (i have two bands - one shared prong, one plain knife edge) but i know it''s not nearly that bad on my left hand with my e-ring. i think the 2 rings together help them to fit more snuggly on my finger.

unfortunately, yesterday we brought our camera back to best buy because we''ve been having some problems with it. when we get it back or get a new one, i''ll be sure to post a pic of all three for you. e-ring is 2.13.

officially i have 2 bands and one e-ring.
of the bands, one is shared prong and the other plain knife-edge.
i was married with the shared prong band. but, both have been blessed by the priest who married us.
the plain band was purchased to wear on our honeymoon so that i was able to leave diamonds at home and still have a "i''m married" band. i made sure the plain band went with the e-ring so that i''m able to trade out my bands. when i do wear the plain band with my e-ring my shared prong band is worn on my right hand.

Oh I see...I asked because in the last photo that diamond band looked like it was a full eternity and I saw that the first photos is looked like a half, that''s why I asked! We did the same thing...

the half eternity is a custom band from whiteflash. it has 12 three pointers.
