Thanks, ladies! I'm glad you all think it looks good. If I make the final decision to keep it, I'll eventually set it in a more elaborate 4-prong solitaire with a pretty profile, but not sure on the specifics yet. I love old cuts in simple solitaires as well, so I will keep it in this current setting for a while (though I wish the prongs weren't crooked). The stone is a little over 3cts.
GemFever, thanks for sharing those pics! The reflection is very evident in those photos. On this stone, it does kind of look like that but to a much, much smaller extent. I don't think the amount that I see it on this stone will bother me enough not to keep it, but I'm still evaluating it to make sure.
