Heaven help us if Wink needs my support, but I agree. The pointy ends of marquise, pear shapes, and ovals too - but if the oval is not very pointy. then there will not be much advantage.Date: 12/29/2007 8:11:02 PM

Perhaps near the ends if they are cut well, but in the middle they would show worse, especially if the stone exhibits a strong bow tie.
