Hi @cflutist, need your wisdom!

Your tennis bracelets are beautiful. I know you purchased them from HPD and since I am considering a bracelet of my own, I wanted to ask your advice. The stones I am considering are not branded as H&A. When you purchased your bracelet, did you compare to BGD or to WF? You seem thrilled with both of your bracelets.

I don't want any regrets if/when I make my purchase and am a bit torn since I can't see any of the options before I purchase. I am looking for something exquisite - not a huge bracelet size wise but want the best quality I can afford.

Appreciate any advice you can offer!

It hope cflutist doesn’t mind me jumping in. She is a customer of HPD and had been for a long time.

At the time I contacted Brian Gavin of WF and Wink. Spoke to both of them, but Brian never got back to me with a quote so I went with @Wink. That was in 2004 which started a 14 year relationship with Wink as my personal jeweler.

My bracelets are hand assembled with the safety of 4 prongs but the look of 3. Been wearing the larger one everyday for 14 years now. I have read posts of others breaking before that.

The .33 diamonds were not sold as H&A but are very well cut. @Winks_Elf can speak how a bracelet can be created with all lab graded diamonds if that is what you want. They also now have HP Lux H&A melee but I don't know how large they go.

Good luck.

HI:

I have a diamond bangle from Wink. I think it was made in Jurassic times (:mrgreen2:) and not large stones like in CF's bracelet, but it is really gorgeous.

I also have purchased from WF, JA, Diamonds by Lauren, and all those other branded places that shall go unnamed. Having choices is good, and seeking advice in good faith is why PS exists.

cheers--Sharon

Thank you @whitewave , appreciate your weighing in!

Thank you as well @canuk-gal - I had a bangle from WF that was beautiful but it just wasn't me (or probably better stated, I realized that I really want a tennis bracelet). You are right- having choices is a great thing!

@cflutist - truly appreciate your responding! I have a quote from Wink's team and they have been simply lovely to work with. I feel awkward even asking because I know they are so highly thought of. For me, its been more a choice about the quality of the diamonds (H&A or not) but perhaps I need to think beyond that. The HP Lux is not something I could swing price wise, so I've eliminated that option.

Much to think about!
