Calling All Radiant Experts (Nicrez), I Need Help!!!

Hey everyone. I am looking for a wonderful radiant cut stone. My love for them started with the Tiffany Lucida. My budget is ~$20K. I am looking for the biggest, most brilliant stone possible, yet eye clean. My struggles continue to rise the more time I spend learning about these stones. I struggle most with not having objective rating of cut. I have also been introduced to the original radiant cut company. From what I have seen, I am impressed with their stones. The hard part is I have only seen two or three at a time. To the experts (or anyone with something fruitful to add)... Do branded radiants like RCDC give one any piece of mind about cut? Which branded radiant is the most well know, best priced, and most consistent in their cut? I really prefer the square shape more than the rectangular. Is one shape more brilliant or have any other major pros or cons over the other shape? If I am going with square, what are the "ideal" proportions I need? Please guys, I need your help. I am chasing my tail hear and going nuts! Thanks a ton.

So far I am looking between F-H (Maybe I), an VS1-SI1. I understand that Radiants show more color. I also think that I am wanting the table to be between 56% - 65%. I have read that depending on the table the diamond can look bigger.

hey there. glad to hear there is someone else going through the same stuff. what have you heard about branded radiants? anything on the original radiant diamond company?

From what I can tell, Branded Radiants get a much higher price tag...

Ok, I will take a stab at trying to help you from what I know.

Yes, Radiants can show more colour, this is the reason why so many fancy coloured diamonds are cut into this shape, as it can help show the colour to it's best advantage. For the normal colour graded Radiant buyer, it is best to try to see some similarly graded Radiants in person to see what you like for faceting patterns, personality and colour grade. Some make their cut off for colour a G or H, but it is best to try to see some in person so you know which is best for you. Also the size or carat weight of the Radiant can make a difference with colour, a larger diamond may show more colour than a smaller one.

Clarity, an eyeclean SI can be well worth considering.

Also you really can't buy a Radiant by the numbers, they really need to be seen to be judged. If looking online the ASET tool is very useful to help you, along with both magnified and non mag photos.
