Calculating the diamond weight of an eternity ring

I've been trying to design an eternity ring...and can't quite figure out various weights, widths, diamond count etc.
How many carats would 23 2.5mm diamonds be?
Is there a formula I could look up, or does anyone have a link?

23 x .06 = 1.38 +/-
