thanks to Deb I rec'd on Thursday a congratulatory cake for my 10k posting.
I allowed it to defrost in the refrigeraton and on Saturday evening we began the "deconstruction" of the beauty.
it really is yummy! highly recommend!
and i'd love to have a color stone that matches the green of the lime candy slices!
get your slice while you can!

The Tirmisu cake was to die for as well! It didnt' look at pretty at the lemonade cake but it tasted like heaven on earth....oh why did I have to open a cake thread the first day I start my diet

glad everyone is enjoying their virtual piece of cake!
the decorative "slices" are really yummy as well and actually more of a fine tsav green!
and the cake really is more of a limeade.....which I like even better than lemonade.
the top layer is "cake" and the bottom layer is not quite cake and not quite mousse and is definitely in the key lime ball park re taste.
thanks again, Deb! glad you got to finally see what this cake looks like.
