Hi all,
So my rings have been successfully cast, but the cad as well as the final product has a ton of metal used. All three rings I have had made look like a chariot wheel with a decent length spure.
I understand this was to distribute the metal flow via the feeder?
I reckon there’s more metal in the offcuts (chariot) than the actual bands...
Can anyone please explain why it would have been done that way?
Thank you!
