excellent article but a couple nitpicks.
#7 Independent Appraisers. <--- reads too infomercial, add a disclaimer and tone it down too being a good idea too use one, then why... or state that some people choose this path, it shouldn''t read like that''s the only option.

#8 Credit Cards and Banks
Wire fraud is by huge percentage prosecuted more than credit card fraud is.
I think its a good sign that a vendor accepts it.
For small purchases US postal money orders are one of the most secure methods.

Those are some good tips. I think the key to buying any high dollar item online is to use common sense. If it doesn''t feel right or the deal seems too good to be true don''t do it. Trust your Gut!
