Buying a Pendant in USA & getting it to Canad

Just bought a diamond pendant worth Cad4960 want to know if I have to pay duty at the Canadian Customs if so approximately how much? It is coming by Fedex!!

You will either pay the duty/sales tax when you pick up your pendent at the pick up location, or Fedex will hold the pendent at the border until you pay the duty over the phone with CC. Fedex will let you know. Meanwhile, keep checking the delivery status.

In general, you will just pay local sales taxes (GST/PST/HST) at the same rate you normally do. There should not any duty under NAFTA. But it depends on where the pendent is actually manufactured.
