A very good friend of mine who has been with her partner for half a lifetime have decided to finally marry. He gave her a braided twine ring and told her to go find her dream ring. Good man.

She is really drawn to colored stones. Peach/pink/brown, and Emerald Cuts being the requirement. I pitched to her the idea of a Brown Emerald cut diamond, similar to CalmerPalmer's, (but smaller). She wears yellow and rose hold only so a Brown stone would work well with the warm metals.

I know this will be a unicorn. I've looked on Diamonds by Lauren, the one fancy Brown Emerald he has is too big, looking 3.5ct range or under.

What other vendors should I be looking at?

An Argyle Asscher WWW etc. www www & possibly sides www

2p

Rhino/AV can get pink/brown undertone MMDs if they were considered an option.

...excellent stuff!

I do not see - anyone else - cutting darker diamonds to show their color, as if nobody knew what to do with them.

Leibish also has nice champagne/brown diamonds.

I am so excited for your friend, as a fellow brown/peach lover I understand the struggle of trying to find such a "unicorn". Do you know what size range she is after, and her budget?

Here are 2 I adore from Leibish.

**This is my favorite, and if it were any other cut (for some reason emeralds just don't appeal to me), I would have snatched it up in a heart beat.

**Potentially more yellow and less peachy than she wants, but another gorgeous stone.

And I know radiant cuts are likely cheating since obviously they aren't emeralds, but I feel compelled to show these other options from DBL.

Loose diamond:
**DROOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL so pretty!

And this diamond: http://www.diamondsbylauren.com/index.php/jewelry/101ct-brown-si1-cushion-diamond-r7122
which they are currently setting in this style: http://www.diamondsbylauren.com/index.php/jewelry/139ct-brown-si2-cushion-diamond-r7469

Obviously in the latter case she would need to love both the stone + setting, but I think it's going to look amazing.

I love unicorn searches, and it is fun to look for someone else.

Along with @lovedogs recs this isn't a true Emerald but seems to be in the color family.

Modified Emerald

ETA: put the link in the wrong place

I assume OPs friend won't be interested in a 5+ct stone if 3ct was too big. But WOWZERS!!! So gorgeous!

Everyone, thank you SO much. Well when I was educating my dear friend on the finer things that sparkle, I also went off the deep end gushing about Erika Winters. The next day she and her fiance went to the jeweler in our area that carries EW.

Long story short, shopping ensued. She went from wanting something with color to solid pink, lol. We can consider the hunt for a Brown Emerald Diamond closed....for now.
