or if any you guys have any suggestions. im looking for a setting that doesnt make the diamond look small.

thanks

Well, I wouldn't define small a diamond over 80 points...
Sorry to ask you, but what's your budget?

my budget for the setting would be $1000- 1500 in platinum solitare

I love the Tiffany style. It makes every diamond look great, in my opinion. But, the setting is really about personal preference, and one ring style may look better, or fit better on her hand than another style.

what did you guys think of the diamond? is it any good?

picking the setting is the hard part

Your diamond is beautiful! I prefer the setting that is tapered (the first link you posted) because the curves of it when seen head-on are elegant!

september: Thats the one I leaning towards its my number one my list. I really like how it makes the diamond look bigger. i also like the prong setting with how it looks from the side.

togi: yes i saw your thread yesterday i saw that you were looking at the same exact diamond.Iol. so i decided to go ahead and buy it before you or anyone else would. I like the setting you picked also.

lovely diamond :) I like either the tapered Tiffany style half-round or the classic truth solitaire, I think either one would be a great choice to showcase your beautiful stone!
