I am just wondering... I have seen small gas- or liquid-bubbles in almost all of my sapphires in a 50x micrscope.
Does that indicate that they are natural or synthetic?
I am not very good at inclusions, even if I know perfectly that it''s a very important knowledge, which will help you see the difference between both natural/synthetic gemstones, different kinds of stones, and the origin of a gem. Do any of you know where I can find a site with information about inclusions, mostly in rubies and sapphires?

Natural - Treated (heat, etc)

Natural - Untreated

Man Made (synthetic)

A qualified gemologist is the best bet for determining which you have. This Site has some interesting photos on inclusions in sapphires.
