Blue Nile offers very little information other than a lab report and a GCAL. How does a Blue Nile Signature round stack up against A Cut Above or some of the other H&A diamonds out there?

Wow, what tools did you buy to take those great shots aside fromt the H&A viewer? Which loops did you pick up?
That is a great diamond. What did you do for a setting?
I went through. Read the PDF on page 2 especially. For the photos, I used a simple digital camera, a H&A viewer, an idealscope and a few loupes ranging from 10x to 30x.
By far the biggest challenge I have with Blue Nile is sorting through the diamonds. I am a newbie and a techno junkie - I like to see the idealscope and gemex reports for diamonds. Blue Nile has their own optical report which has horrible pictures of the Hearts and Arrows of a diamond. I just to get a warm and fuzzy from their gcal reports and I don''t know how much stock to put into it. One thing I have noticed is that the dimensions on their signature ideal series are not as stringent as some other vendors, I see more variation in the number.
On the same hand, I run into that issue with Whiteflash. When I look at an A Cut Above Diamond I do get to see the ideal scope but no Gemex (or similar) report. There are also no H&A pics which I really like to see. By far I have learned the most by looking at GoodOldGold''s website. The have all the reports you would want for most of their stock.
