Yes. He was a great Mayor IMO.

I just remember reading random snippets about a super rich Mayor of New York who didn't get a salary and spent lots of his own money while in office.

Haha he would not like Australia. We are the ultimate nanny state.

As far as why NYC is where we are now imo it’s mainly because of DeBlasio. Worst mayor ever.

Greg didn’t like Guiliani. According to my DH he was a borderline dictator. My DH does admit though life was safer with him in charge.
Like Pinochet if Giuliani could get away with death squads he would use them. (JK). And he made the trains run on time. Lol.

Giuliani wasn’t a nice man. Neither was Bloomberg.....but then again, deblasio isn’t either.. add to that deblasio’s utter incompetence. ”Nice” isn’t part of the job description. If nice counted, dinkins way have been more effective.......urgh.
