I bought a couple black diamonds from an auction for $25 each.

One is 4.75 ct, Trillion shape, Opaque, Jet Black, digital certificate of authenticity from Joya Gem.

The other is 4.48 ct, Triangle shape, Opaque, Jet Black, digital certificate of authenticity from Joya Gem.

I have never done something like this before, so I'm hoping I haven't wasted money.

Are these worth anything? Can I sell them on this site? If I can sell them on this site, how would I go about listing the clarity, color, and the shape for the triangle one?

If real, its worth many many thousands of dollars.

If you bought them for $25, you bought onyx or something, most likely.

Really, black diamonds worth thousands of $$$?..

They may be diamonds are almost certainly treated to be black and worth either what you paid or less.
They also may have been grown in a lab as opposed to mined from the earth.

There are mined diamonds that came out of the earth that are naturally black, which are much more valuable.
They will come with a grading report from GIA that states the material AND color are both of natural origin.

Here are some fully-natural Black diamonds with GIA reports.
Notice the prices.

Do not believe material AND color are of natural origin without a GIA grading report no matter what a seller tells you.
No retailer is going to sell you a $5,000 diamond for $25.
That doesn't happen.

People selling diamonds are smart.
They know what they have.
Sometimes they hope buyers don't.

Sometimes a mined diamond with color that is the result of treatment is called 'Natural' by a retailer.
They may argue this is honest since it WAS mined, not grown.
IMO this is dishonest.
TWO things may be natural or not, origin of material AND origin of color.

I don't think a "digital certificate of authenticity from Joya Gem" is worth the paper it's printed on.
Oh wait, being digital it's not even worth the cost of a piece of paper.

There are other reputable gem labs but when it comes to fancy colored diamonds, including black, GIA is the only lab report that is reliable enough to get me to write a check.
FCDs are just too costly and there are too many ways to get ripped off.
