Hello everyone!

I''ve been lurking on and off here for a while now... I''m getting close to searching out a stone and setting for an engagment ring...

I''m looking for a bezel or 1/2 bezel style setting and I''m not having too much luck in finding them. I''d like something simple and elegant. So if anyone knows of a website or vendor I''d love to hear about it!

Thanks.

If you want a semibezel, then I think the most beautiful I've ever seen is the etoile solitaire by Tiffany's. Supposing you don't want to pay the mark up, there are many versions... A nice one is done by Ingwer at a very fair price if I remember correctly.
I'm attaching an etoile picture.

Bezel settings don't seem to be as popular now as they were a few years back. A friend of mine got the Tiffany version above with the matching wedding band and it is really quite stunning. Dimend Scaasi has a similar one:

White Flash carries a LE brand setting that looks like the Etoile pictured above. It's available in gold and platinum.

Wow! That tiffiny semibezel is almost exactly what I am looking for but I'm not very likely to go out and get one from them.

I tried to look up the Ingwer one but couldn't find it. I looked at the one on Whiteflash but although I'd love to get platinum I can afford white gold and that one appears to only come in plat or yellow gold.

The one on dimendscaasi.com appears to be the same deal... platnum only..?

Thanks for your help so far!

tradeshop.com?

It takes a while to go through their pages, but they have a bunch of bezels and can make most crazy things... Prices seem decent and you cna choose the material... I have heard about them on Pricescope too (knew the place for a while) so you could probably get refs from a customer or two here. I did not end up using their services.

Bump.... since it's monday....

Thanks!

What about having one custom made? Just take a design to a jeweller...just don't have the 'copy' it as it will go againt copyright laws.

I have seen favorable reviews for both Tradeshop and Ringdesigner.com.
