Bezel or channel eternity?

DD: I am also voting bezel, and I am biased because I have the Tiffany Jazz eternity band as my wedding ring. I LOVE it!! I actually purchased a channel set eternity band from SP, which was lovely. But I felt it just didn''t *fit* with my e-ring. I think you will be really happy with the bezel-style band.

And honestly this really appeals to me!

One reason I like a channel band is b/c I can go bigger in the ct. weight and still have the band sit flush withe the height of my solitaire. Stylistically, I prefer the bezel, but for bling factor the channel wins out...

Haha! Yes, thank you. It is funny! I went without an avatar for something like 365 days! I was "the gray man." This suits me better.

- one of my favorite part of the bezel band was the side profile

DD- not sure if that was something you considered? whether you liked the ridges/wavy profile look or not. just a thought as mentioned by motownmama

I recently concluded my search for a bezeled wedding band... If I had a dollar for each maul store SA that gave me a blinky-deer-in-headlights-are-you-speaking-in-german look, I''d have... well... at least $8

They''re really quite uncommon. Tiff''s was the only place I was able to try them on. I then went to the "birthplace" of my e-ring. Their house jeweler was in the process of designing one! And an alternating bezeled RB/marquis ring. Replicas of Tiffany''s of course... so perhaps they''re starting to gain popularity?

My currently-being-created WB is alternating bezel-set... one big (relatively speaking) diamond, one small sapphire, one big diamond, one small sapphire, etc, etc, etc... When I told my mother about the design she was flabbergasted. "What? A bezeled wedding band? Can''t you just get... I don''t know... a NORMAL one?"

Absolutely. Not.

Hee hee - I say go for the bezel, but I''m not a big fan of channel set anything. *shrug* But ultimately, if the added bling is what you''re after, go for the channel band. I was debating between my bezel, and a bar set band. The bar set was blingier, but I was so set on the bezel style that that''s what I went with. If I''d been set on larger stones, the bar set would have been the way to go. You just have to decide which you want more - or first, as the case may be!

i vote channel - more diamond, a sleeker line with your e-ring, and i think they look better from a distance - ie when people aren''t looking down on your eternity band from close up.

just by the way - i think it was honey for got a WF channel set YG ring the other day that absolutely converted me! worth pulling that baby out and having a look, even if you dont have a YG set; the proportions are so elegant!

dd, I voted channel too because I just love that style and it''s so easy to wear with practically any type e-ring, but I do think the new bezel bands are very sweet and fresh and different. I''m always looking for options and possibilities ......... but can''t you have both at some point? I mean, after all, you did push a little human being out of your body recently.

Have you considered one in diamonds and one in say..... sapphires.? Tacori absolutely sold me with her Tessa ring. I LOVE that band! I think it''s beautiful. Stack-a-licious!

I do like the ridges... the Tiffany jazz I tried on was lovely. I will admit that it didn''t have the bling factor that the channel band had though. It really comes down to *style* versus *bling* in my mind. And despite what Musey says

I am actually not at all decided which is more important!
