Bezel or channel eternity?

Okay, so for anyone who has been following my neverending polls

you''ll know that I am looking for a nice little diamond eternity band to pair with my solitaire to celebrate the birth of my son, and have been considering the tiffany-jazz-inspired bezel eternity band that is very popular these days around here (D&T).

But I went to Tiffany''s last week to see the original jazz in action and to see some other bands... and I really loved the 2.5mm channel set band as well!

So my question for you all is this: Which band should I get, the jazz-inspired bezel, or a tiffany-esque channel

?

Stats:

Bezel band: .26cttw, 2.3mm wide, ~$700
Channel band: .60cttw, 2.5mm wide, ~$1200
E-ring: 1.17ct in the legato sleek line solitaire, 2.3mm wide

Both rings are the same height as my solitaire

Shimmer has the legato sleek line with a bezel band, it is slightly larger with 2pt diamonds and her solitaire is .80ct

But beware, it looks awful in pics, so stay away and base your decision on real life viewings!

I picked bezel because I think I''ll be getting something like that when I pick out a w-band. Shimmer''s is so beautiful...swoon. But you can''t go wrong either way.

I know you were concerned about the size of the stones/band in the bezel option next to your e-ring, which makes me lean channel for you (since you've already tried one on and love the look). I think the extra bling of the channel might better 'balance' the set as well.

Anyway, I''m going to vote channel! I changed from the WF Keystone setting to the Whiteflash Legato Sleek Lines when DH surprised me with an early Mother''s Day/ Birthday gift last week, a yellow gold channel set round diamond band. Which obviously threw a small kink into my palladium Keystone setting plans because the two wouldn''t match at all! WF being awesome as they are, stopped my order until I decided what I wanted (which only took a day). I won''t have my Legato ring until next week, but it will be paired up with the new channel band (which is about 4mm wide).

But you can''t go wrong with either the bezel or the channel set!

Masie with the size of your solitaire I''d go with the 3pt bezel band! It would look killer!

I totally agree with this, pictures somehow really don''t capture the beauty of the channel set band... it is a river of sparkle between the golden channels!

They are from Katiedid! I thought they were and then I went back to double check and couldn''t find the thread so I didn''t want to attribute them to the wrong person... if it is Katiedid, she didn''t end up keeping this band.

Have you posted pictures of your new band? I haven''t seen them! I love the legato sleep line, you will love it too! We should get our new rings at the same time.
