New member, but long time lurker. I’m upgrading my ring this year for my anniversary. I currently have a cushion solitaire and I’m keeping with that style. Just wanting to upgrade the stone and setting.
My biggest regret with my current stone (I picked it - no hard feelings with my husband!) is that has really poor light return despite its grading. The table is also very large and the shape very square. I’ve found I prefer cushions that have a more rounded appearance.
Since my original purchase was through blue nile I am planning to upgrade with them. Below I’ve included the link to my original .71 cushion and the two upgrades I’m considering. Both have very different facet patterns but I’m hoping not to run into the same issues with my current diamond. Any help is much appreciated!!
