A few questions for the board...
With my on line hunt, I''ve basically narrowed my search to Whiteflash material, and am having trouble deciding between E, VS2 AGS ideal cut ~1.25, (4 star cut rating) or I can pay about the same amount (perhaps just a smidge more) for a 5 star cut rated F, VS2 AGS ideal cut with very similar carat weight and proportions....this is like splitting hairs I know....any thoughts? Do the 5 star rated stones visually blow the 4 stars out of the water? Holloway cut advisor ratings are very similar for the stones...
I''ve kind of had my mind set on D/E''s but after seeing some well cut F''s I''m not noticing a huge difference, so I''m leaning towards the slightly better cut 5 star stones...do you think it''s ok to go down to an F in this case and still get that icy white, brilliant face up look? Or do you think the cut difference is so negligeable that I might as well do the E?
What are people''s thoughts on D colored stones....worth the premium?
The more under 10k I can stay the better, and the bigger the stone I can get the better, but I really want the stone to be icy white with no visual includions (perhaps I should hold out hopes for the perfect F, SI 1 and up the size?) and to perform at a very high level....
Thank you!
