ive done alot of research on these. most weird thing is i think these are the largest ones. the 20 or so diggins on the west side the material was so thin the scientists decided to go with a thickness of just 0.80mm.
this is a serious question. please do not reply if all youre about to say is " duh ". of the remaining 20 or so holes that have been searched, which ones more than likely did these come from. ( map included ) 53DCCAC4-1F5F-4246-AF24-1A80EC07C771.jpeg

Have you ever visited a forum that is called gemmology online dot com?

I think they might be more geared to helping you out on these types of questions.

It’s just not Pricescope forum’s niche.

Also don't be surprised when any forum is doubtful when you claim to have incredibly rare/nonexistent things with 0 proof

Good try, let's see if tonedeaf

I think this person is just having a laugh at PS members expense @lovedogs.
Let's move on shall we? Meet you over at your ruby thread? Hope it's going well!

Which of the 20 unlabeled identical "black rainbow" markings on that map is the source of these stones? Is that what you are asking? Based on the angle of the sun in your photos and the coarseness of the texture of the background and the time of day when I first reviewed the photos, I would say it's toward the top of your map. And it looks like classic Ivy Hole material if I know my teeny Scottish garnets.

You could use a geiger counter and gauge the uranium content -- but that might impact resale. Favorably or unfavorably, I guess, depending upon your clientele.

Actually, @landscape knows a ton about garnet varieties but I am a little reluctant to wake him up for this.
