Before And After Shots Of My Ering

For our five year anniversary we decided to change my setting from a custom John Beasley to a custom James Meyer. We kept my original diamond. While I adored my first setting I LOOOOOOOVE the James Meyer.


Ok: These are the pics of my first ring. It is a platinum setting with channel set baguettes and two platinum wedding bands. The diamond is a 1.10 ct/H color/Si1 clarity.
Sometimes I wore two bands, but most of the time I just wore one. Think it is a classic, clean look.
Before:

This is the same diamond in a platinum James Meyer setting. It took years of looking at rings to really develop my own style/taste in settings. It turns out that I love bezels. When we got married I didn''t really know anything besides prongs existed. I think this setting is so delicate and romantic. It is so me.

Ok so today at work someone said they thought my new ring would look better with a diamond wedding band. I really feel like that would detract from the simplicity of the ering. I kind of liked the way my plain wedder looks with the James Meyer. What do you guys think?
