bead set=pave=melee???

So I''m trying to figure this out. Is bead set, pave and melee all exactly the same thing?

I''ve found an e-ring that I''m in love with! It has bead set diamonds in a halo around the center diamond. Has anyone had a bad experience, like the small diamonds coming out? I just want to know how common it is to have mishaps like this.

regarding the stones falling out, it can happen. If you are really hard on your rings or plan on wearing them 24/7, pave might not be for you..

FYI Melee is the name for the small stones in the pave or bead work. So, you could have either bead set melee, or channel set melee, etc.
