Here's my new Barry blue, a very modest little fellow at .81ct and .56mm, but what a beautiful blue boy!

Ugh. Barry's spinels make me a little faint. This guy packs such a punch, it hardly needs to be bigger!

Do I reset the spinel into the van craeynest setting (in the photos), or do I reset my ering diamond into it instead?

Haha no, I had a wedding to attend and I loved this nail color. It is a happy coincidence!

This is now my third barry blue spinel, I'm building up a small horde of them, haha.

It really does look like a sapphire Forte, there is very little of the steely gray mask.

Sure, here is the other one, it's about 8mm. It's definitely has more of a violet touch.

My gosh, that is a stunner! Whatever you do with it, it will be blindingly beautiful.

I think one of the reasons I"m leaning towards putting this in the VC is because I think the intricate setting will compliment the relatively small size.

Can't really think of any other way to set it at the moment. I already have numerous solitaire RHRS, and I"m not really a halo person (and I think diamonds might make the spinel seem darker than it is) or a 3 stone person..hmm..
