Hi everyone!

I have been searching for some unique halos as an ER to go with the wedding band I just had custom made. The band didn't turn out quite the way I'd hoped (long sordid story here https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/help-with-custom-cad-art-deco-eternity-ring.204246/#post-3811963) but it's good enough for now. To match it, I've decided to go with an octogon, cushion, or square with cut corners halo.

After scouring the internet for gorgeous halos, I found a few in stores and thought I'd post pics to get opinions and to share with others looking for similar things. I love the look of baguettes and art deco settings, so if you know of any, please let me know!

This is my wedding band and 1.5ish round brilliant in a temp setting.

This is my favorite so far, but it might look too sleek to go with the old fashioned millegrain band I have.

Interesting floral shanks (is that the word?)

Huge double halo with round pinks in bezels to break up the pattern. It reminds me of a basketball wives version of webdiva's gorgeously delicate bev k halo: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/art-deco-hexagonal-eternity-ring-to-match-my-bev-k.177302/

Fake Harry Winston style (and the 2 tiny spacer eternity bands I'm thinking of getting)

And this is the one my fiance calls the maxi-pad with wings ring. It was sooooo sparkly on that I loved it, despite the fact that it is not at all what I've been looking for!

These are a few of the ones I've looked at in person. Love ring shopping. Love it.

And here are some of the ones I've found online but haven't seen in person yet. I've found these types of threads really useful, so thought I'd put together this list to maybe help someone else in the future!

Tacori baguette that started the whole search - http://www.tacori.com/blog/glitzy-baguette-halo/

I think this one is no longer available at Brilliant Earth, but omg, it's gorgeous.

I'm not sure where this was originally from, but it's pretty much all the baguettes you could put in a halo..

Enjoy!

None of the above?

Look at Singlestone.

And... what is your budget? Several of those are 5-9k settings. Seriously.

Ok. So here are my recommendations. I'd get any of them done by Brilliantly engaged.

The first one is the one I'd have done and it is my favorite.
Second one, I'd get done in all diamond
Number three would cost the earth. But it's gorgeous. I'd change the shank though, and do it with graduated diamond pave, like #4's shank.
And the fourth one is lovely and again, I'd do a custom version of it.

That last one, the beverly k is very similar to the Harry Winston Belle, seen here.

Here is another one from BE, similar to the one Gypsy has posted:

Thank you! These are all gorgeous.

Gypsy - I'll admit you've found the flaw in my process. I haven't been looking at prices yet. I've been mostly collecting pictures to get ideas, and that was the first trip to try rings on with the band and compare different shapes. I'm still torn between a delicate solitaire or a halo, as the halo can almost bury the wedding band.. but in the heat of putting rings on, I'll admit the flash of more sparkle draws me in. The pics I posted weren't actually my favorites, except for the first one. I forgot to take pictures of most of them..!

I love the look of the Erica Winters rings. Those are new to me and have been immediately added to my pile of inspiration images. So far, your favorites are my favorites.. although something still draws me to the first ring I posted.

Out of curiosity, why do you recommend the Bev K that is similar to the Harry Winston over the Harry Winston look-alike I posted? Can you see a quality issue?

And a similar question about your #2 all baguette recommendation vs the Leon Mege I posted. Is it just proportion? Or something else?

lknvrb4 - thank you! I don't think I'd seen that site before.

This looks a lot like the first ring I posted, but with millegrain. http://timelessdesigns.com/content/r1373drd10 I was trying to figure out if that ring would look good with millgrain and whether it would match my wedding band better. Still not sure, but it helps to see similar items!

And Thanks dk186. That is now one of my favs.

OMG, if I ever get a re-set, that third one would be it. Unbelievably gorgeous.

ahh.. it's Tiffany's.. so much for a re-set..lol..

setting a budget seems to be really good idea if you're looking for something specific. You can get whatever you want if you go the custom route, and the posts so far are great pieces of inspiration!

In addition to BE, Erika Winters, etc... I haven't seen CVB mentioned here as vendor for custom route. I was looking for a unique halo with art deco twist, and CVB nailed it. This is what she made for me:

I do not know the quality of the ring you posted. I can't tell from those photos. You would have to post macro shots.

I know Beverly K's quality is very solid. That's all I can say.
