Thanks again all.
Yesterday we passed their strict inspection of the bedroom we cleaned out so the daily in-home peritoneal dialysis can happen.
It took 3 weeks for SO to clean out all his junk.
His dad stayed with us and helped force him to throw away tons of stuff.
I tried, but we got into fights.
Next we both have to attend 40 hours of training on in-home dia.
If we don't pass the tests they won't authorize the in-home dia, and he'll have to go to a center for hemodialysis, blood cleaning. sad
Again, daily in-home dia is vastly superior because your toxins are removed daily instead of only 3 times a week at a center.
This all sucks bigly.
Take care of your kidneys, folks.
Please get yourself, and anyone you love, to a doctor for annual physical exams.
By never going to a doctor SO destroyed his kidneys, one of his eyes (he'll probably never drive again) damaged his heart, and damaged nerves in his extremities by uncontrolled diabetes.![]()
