After reading about everyone else''s I feel as I am single-handedly lowering the average...

my e-ring is RB
yellow gold solitaire
approx. .38 (sold as 3/8 carats)
recently appraised as H/I SI (never knew the original stats. It was bought in 1982).
I have no idea what cut, but it sparkles a lot, it is not overshadowed very much by my solitaire which I got for my 25th anniversary, which is an AGS 000 and had a great HCA score.

I could give you the stats on that one, I suppose, I wear that everyday, too, and sometimes even put it on my left hand, but mostly my original engagement ring stays there with my wedding band, and I do consider it to be my ''e-ring'' while the other (the new one) is my
''anniversary band''.
I love the new one, but the memories are not there with it.

Do colored stone erings count?

Post your and/or your SO''s E-ring shape, carat, colour, and clarity, in a couple of weeks I''ll tally it up, and we''ll see what PSers are wearing now

*If you have multiple rings or upgrades pick the one you like best/wear most often
In my opinion, there is contradictory advice given above. I cannot both post information about my engagement ring and also choose the ring I wear most often! My engagement ring is my engagement ring. Period.

My engagement ring has two 1-point diamonds inside an oval made of 18K gold. The diamonds have not been graded for color or clarity. In fact, one jeweler said they might be white sapphires, although they were sold to us in Italy as diamonds (I think). (I didn''t speak a word of Italian back then.) This ring makes Black Jade''s engagement ring look huge. :-)

The ring I wear most often when I want to wear a diamond solitaire is not my engagement ring.

I''m an outlier, and almost didn''t post this since I''m nowhere near the average. I''m the lowest (besides AGBF) but here goes...

It is in an illusion setting, so it looks bigger in passing! Haha, but honestly, I love my ring. It was given to my husband by his dear grandmother, whom I love as well, and the fact that she passed it on through me is an honor. In all honesty, I think if I ever upgraded (keeping the current ring of course) my husband''s family would still probably be unhappy to see me wearing something other than the family ring. Therefore, the only bigger diamonds I may get will probably be a pendant.
