Pheonix I am glad to hear you are wearing your Pear again. Weren''t you not wearing it much for a while because you were unhappy about it in some way?Date: 3/20/2010 4:37:58 AM

..in the right forum this time
I know it''s been done before, let''s do an updated version!
Post your and/or your SO''s E-ring shape, carat, colour, and clarity, in a couple of weeks I''ll tally it up, and we''ll see what PSers are wearing now![]()
*If you have multiple rings or upgrades pick the one you like best/wear most often
*If you primarily wear a multi-stone ring with a clear centrestone (3 stone, etc.) post only centrestone info, and add a note about what type of ring it is
*If you primarily wear a multi-stone band post ctw and how many stones
*If you have a gemstone e-ring post that info
I used to wear a 3.02ct F VS2 RB with a fishtail / micropave kind of band; but for the past several months have been wearing a 3.50ct H Si2 pear-shaped ering with micropave halo and micropave band (though I plan to switch back to the RB at some point in the future - just don''t know when). The caratage posted is for the centre stone in each ring. I really can''t remember the tcw of the band and halo, but I''d guess around 1ct in each ring.![]()
I also sometimes wear my 3-stone RHR as my ering. Stats are: RB stones, F-G colour, VVS1-Si1 clarity, total carat weight is approx 3-3.50ct.
Not sure if I''ve answered your Q correctly!![]()

Yes, you're right, Dreamer. I was unhappy abt the pear ring for a while. I guess I was so fixated with upgrading it to something else that I was subconsciously trying to find faults with it. I was seeing a tinge in it and it drove me crazy for a while; now I reckon it's just a peculiarity of this fancy cut, in that it seems to absorb the colour in the surrounding environment much more than a RB. So for example, in a room with yellow lightling, it takes on a light tinge (just a tinge or tint - definitely not yellow). However, in reality and under day light - be it direct sunlight or diffused light - it is very white (well, obviously not as white as my F, but definitely white, not even a hint of any tinge).Date: 3/20/2010 11:25:53 AM
