ATTN: Diamond Experts: Please help clarify Cut VS Symmetry

Hello,

I am looking for a cushion diamond and was looking online and it said to go for AGS: IDeal cut and GIA certs: Excellent Cut.
They said for the symmetry and polish, very good should be fine.

My question is:
On the GIA Cert, it does NOT list "cut" as Excellent or IDeal, it only says "Symmetry VG

I am confused.
I want to get the sparkliest cushion /whitest. Looking at D and E only.
Possilby F, but rather not. (i'm very color sensitive)

I'm not sure about AGS, but GIA only grades cut for round brilliants. For all other shapes you will only get a symmetry and polish grade.

wow . so when i look at diamonds online, i select Ideal cut, but it won't say it on the cert, right?
Any tips on searching ? thx!
