Attention Kenny

I'm not sure as it seems really dark and grey to me..not exactly bright- I'm not expert though. I can just say whether I like the color or not :naughty:

WHOA! Too rich for my blood.
I'll take it if YOU'RE buying.
Can you imagine the price of the only violet to earn the distinction of being in the prestigious ARGYLE TENDER AUCTION!
Only the Argyle mine's 50 or so finest FCDs walk that red carpet annually.
Also half a carat for a violet is like 1,000 carat for a colorless.

Thanks for the FCD Pron though. :lickout: :lickout: :lickout:

my guess would be around 200k mark... i think the color is absolutely amazing though!

Yes, that Deep Grayish Violet is TDF - especially such color in in a round! and a Violet over a half carat+ will NOT happen again since my sources tell me Argyle's output is already declining.
Your price guess is quite a good one, but a tad low.

I want it but will positively be divorced if I buy it.
This is difficult.
Hmmm.

It's deep, 67.5%, so, although it is financial sacrilege, I could get it recut as an Eightstar without loosing too much diameter.. :naughty:
But then again with a 39 degree crown angle the girdle was placed quite low.
I'll bet a recut would result in a 0.44 ct round, still the largest rock in my little round up, and it may lighten the color a little which I wouldn't mind.
Most of the inclusions are clustered around the girdle so the clarity may go up.

Hmmm.
Thinking.

When?

I'm somewhat partial to my SO, and that is quite rich for my blood.

While in Honolulu, I was able to visit a Harry Winston and hold a 4.25 carat VS1 radiant cut GIA certified natura fancy deep gray violet. It was over 5 million dollars if I remember correctly, and it absolutely stopped my heart.

hmmm time share anyone?

I'm in!! I could pay for about 4 1/2 minutes. Yummmmm!
