Hello,

I recently surfed through the boatload of useful information on Pricescope and finally decided to pull the trigger on a ACA diamond from WF. I also decided to pick a setting from WF and when I first received the ring, I was happy to see the sparkle. However, as I payed a closer attention the prongs were asymmetrical.

Do you guys think this is still within acceptable tolerances or should I get it fixed?

It’s difficult to tell from your pics, but I think you may be right. Can you get a better pic? Did WF send a pic of the ring straight on before they shipped? If it is assymmetrical my guess is it is an easy adjustment a local jeweler could do or you could ship back to WF. My experience is that they want their customers to be very happy.

Hi kgizo,
WF did send me the pics before shipping it to me. But the pics were taken at an angle so it was hard to see the prong alignment. I attached a close up picture with some alignment line for clarity. As you can see the prongs at 1 and 5 o'clock aren't as tight as the other 2. Do you guys think this is still within acceptable range?

Definitely have them fix it. This will bother you forever otherwise. They have excellent customer service, so take them up on it!

WF has a fantastic reputation for their top notch customer service for a reason - reach out to them and tell them the issue. I'm sure they will fix it right away.

Hi lidstar,
Sorry for your dissappointment. From the pics it does look like there is some asymmetry with the prongs.
Please do send the ring back so we can address the issue. We will send you a pre-paid and insured label and we will give it expedited attention.

I <heart> whiteflash!

Mistakes happen, but how companies and people handle them truly define their greatness. This right here is one of the reasons I frequently recommend WF to others.

Please update this post and post pics when you get it back @Lidstar.
