Hi, I am ready to purchase and have been browsing for over a week. The more I learned and read the harder it got. I think I have finally found some solid choices. I would just like some reassurance so that I can sleep at night not thinking about if I made the right choice. Please let me know what you think of these.

2-https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.50-carat-e-color-vs2-clarity-ideal-cut-sku-11226240

3-https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/1.50-carat-e-color-vs2-clarity-ideal-cut-sku-10853533

Your advice is greatly appreciated!

I think I like the #2 the best, and then #3.

Thanks for the reply! I was actually leaning towards 3 for no particular reason. Would you say both are good choices?

I agree in that I like # 2 the best.

The faceting on #3 does not seem as organized - it just doens't seem as crisp under the table as #2, at least to my eyes.

Thanks for the insight, that is something I would never know to look at. Would you say overall 2 is a great choice or just the better choice here?

I think it is a nice solid choice, great even. The pavillion and crown angles are right on that border between ideal and super ideal , so you have great optics without that extra premium cost by going in to JA's "True Hearts" catagory.

Just for fun, I ran it through the HCA calculator and it scored a 1. I do wish the IGI report specififed if this was a H&A cut, but for the optics vs. the cost, I'd be delighted with this diamond.

Thanks so much! I am feeling much better about going with this choice. I just ran though everything in my size and price range again (40ish stones) and the only other one that stood out was this one :https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...at-e-color-vs2-clarity-ideal-cut-sku-11187538

But I still think you guys are right and #2 is the best choice here. Can H&A cut just be left off a report?

Absolutely , it's actually a relatively new thing to see it on some of the grading reports as far as I'm aware, so the lack thereof doesn't mean a well cut stone doens't fall within the parameters.

I think the original #2 is still a better choice than the one you've just linked. It's a great diamond.
