Hey wassup guys! Long time no see.......lol.
Anyways, since I have decided to go custom (great decision, btw, thanks for showing me that), I am debating cuts right now. I saw the Asscher cut online, and it is quite interesting! However, does it have a "fire" to it like the round brilliant, or more of a glass cut look like the emerald cut? Plus, it was said that you need a large carat weight to truly appreciate the look of an Asscher, is this what you all find also? Also, if there are some St. Louis people in here, are there some good jewelers around town that I could go to to look at an Asscher cut diamond? Just interested in a different look perhaps!
Also looking at whiteflash.com at the Hearts and Arrows quality diamonds (Ideal Cut). Do you all really looks that much different in quality and sparkle to a regular round brillant of the same color and clarity? Let me know, I don''t want to waste my money on a gimmick!
